MICHAEL HONAN

Michael Honan is an Australian country music artist from Warrnambool, inspired by Larry Fleet, Alan Jackson, and Keith Urban. A perfectionist who grew up in a country music household, his creative spark was ignited during the COVID pandemic when he began posting covers on Facebook, gaining strong local support for his storytelling-focused music that captures genuine life experiences. In 2024, Michael won the Ridin' Starts competition, earning a performance slot at the Ridin' Hearts Festival where he played marquee stages and received mentorship from industry leaders. His momentum continued into 2025 with a spot on the Back Forty lineup at CMC Rocks, followed by an eight-week Nashville trip where he wrote and recorded new music and performed his largest show to date at Luke Combs' Category 10 bar during CMA Fest. He also showcased at BIG SOUND 2025 in Brisbane and performed multiple sets at the Groundwater Country Music Festival on the Gold Coast.
